We worked alongside transportation agencies and local organizations to promote pedestrian safety.
Inside the fence there is a new garden area and children’s play zone (funded by a Kaboom grant), which includes a climbing wall, mountains-inspired mural, and another collection of seating and play pads.
The project includes: physical design interventions at the locations of past traffic collisions; community surveys about the neighborhood identity; educational programming with local high school students; and a celebration event.
